What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a dance around the Christmas tree? Or by joining hands to move to the rhythm of music? How wonderful to decorate our homes together with lights, stars, and photos! We reunite around a beautifully trimmed tree to celebrate the holdays as a family.

In this activity, the children march in time to the rhythm of the music. Individual coordination and the cooperation of all participants are necessary in order to execute it successfully. The activity also provides excellent opportunities for the children to gain spatial awareness and increase their capacity for auditory discrimination, concentration, and rhythmic sensibility.
