Individual Activities

Here are the available activities for you to choose from! Please contact us if there's one you will like to explore.

The Hoop

We offer an activity that can be used at any time of the day to awaken the senses and bodies of children, encouraging them to learn actively. Children explore their spatial awareness by identifying the inside and outside of their hoop, as well as different directions of movement. Furthermore, they are invited to move in response to instructions while listening to the music.

I Hope You're Well!

Here is an ideal activity to start a routine or begin the day. It involves a greeting in three languages (French, English, and Spanish)  This activity will enhance children's social skills while strengthening their coordination, listening skills, and concentration. The children  will experiment with different intensities, such as loud and soft, using their bodies and voices.

Forest Dance

This Brain Gym-enhanced activity will prepare children's bodies and minds for new discoveries while helping them concentrate and release tension. Feeling secure in their environment and channeling their energy will enhance their enjoyment of learning. Furthermore, it will stimulate their imagination, auditory discrimination skills, and sense of rhythm.

The echo

Here's a wonderful activity for introducing ourselves: Children will pronounce their names following the same dynamic as an echo, repeating the name with a gradual decrease in sound intensity. Additionally, they must coordinate hand gestures with the syllables of their names. This activity aims to boost their confidence and stimulate their expressive language.

The giant

The children meet four friends who walk in unique ways, which they will try to imitate. They explore these dynamics with their bodies, varying their speed and style of walking. There's the giant who takes long strides, the elf who crouches to walk faster, the clown who sways from side to side, and the ballerina who walks on tiptoes. It's a perfect activity for developing body expression, balance, and spatial awareness.

Little chick

We will wake up the little chick sleeping in the egg, first using our fingers, and then by shaking the egg with both hands on each side. All of this while synchronizing the gestures and the words with the music. Additionally, the children will be encouraged to wake up the little chick using occlusive phonemes (to enhance body awareness) and fricative phonemes (for energy).

One drop

With their hands, children sing while rhythmically tapping their fingers to represent the number of raindrops falling from the sky. They will explore numbers with their fingers and finish by tapping loudly on the floor to mimic heavy rain. Here, children experiment with different durations of notes and variable rhythmic figures. This activity is also offered with instruments.

Fire Firetruck

We invite the children to associate circular hand movements with the sound of the siren. Additionally, we make them aware of the body parts associated with the siren and the light: covering their ears when we mention the siren and their eyes when we mention the light. They will also clap their hands while singing.

The leaves

We talk about the leaves and their rhythms throughout the seasons of the year, associating them with the concepts of height and pitch. In spring, like the leaves, the children go up. They stay up while dancing during the summer. Then, the children go down, just like the leaves falling to the ground in autumn. Finally, the children crouch down like the leaves under the snow during winter.

Move like this

Children are invited to focus their attention on the various parts of their bodies and move them in synchrony. Furthermore, they are encouraged to count them. This activity enables children to become aware of the different parts of their bodies while discovering different ways to move them, and it naturally introduces mathematical concepts.

Sleep like this

This is an activity designed to conclude a musical routine or any other activity. This relaxation invites children to relax in order to integrate what they have learned. We will invite them to focus on different parts of their body before lying on their backs. The movements are gentle and symmetrical. The repetition of simple syllables at the end of each sentence facilitates their participation.

Everything is fine!

Here is an activity to say goodbye while infusing children with enthusiastic energy. It involves inviting the children to tap their bodies rhythmically. Then, they can point at their friends while keeping in rhythm with their feet. To sing "everything is fine," the children will spin around while pointing at everything around them, synchronizing their movements with the music.
